About the illustrator

Paul Delaney likes to draw pictures, write stories, make stuff look nice on a page, and brighten people’s day. Luckily he gets to do all these things daily as an illustrator, designer, and children’s book author. Paul’s illustration work combines his love of graphic shapes, quirky characters, animals, textures, typography, words, and whimsy. They are sweet, joyful, and good-natured; and much like their creator, sprinkled with the teensiest pinch of anarchy.

He feels the world is starting to forget how to be kind, so he tries to spread as much joy, happiness, and kindness as he can through his work. As Pigeon is all about connection and spreading joy, one letter at a time, we think he’s the perfect illustrator for our first-ever kids pack of Pigeons. We hope you agree!
